Session & Creative Fee (up to 2 hours)
Whether it is to showoff how cute pregnancy looks on you, capture the essence of a baby with gorgeous artistry, show off the effervescence of youth, show off the unique edge of a soon to be Senior, celebrate love & individuality of family, create a captivating portrait of yourself you can feel proud about or something more! We will plan & execute it in our signature way to create results that are sure to thrill. Sessions can take place in our Professional Studio, on Location or both. Studio Sessions will have 2 or more background options and as many outfit changes as time allows. A typical Session will result in approximately 24-50 edited proofs.

$150 Weekdays Monday - Thursday
$200 Weekends Friday - Sunday
For groups over 5 please add $25 per each additional person.

Half Sessions (1 hour)

Available in Studio or at a few select outdoor locations near our studio. Studio sessions allow for 1 backdrop/set and multiple outfits. A typical Half Session will result in approximately 12-24 finished proofs.

$100 Weekdays Monday - Thursday
$130 Weekends Friday - Sunday
Not available for groups with over 4 individuals.

Mini Shoot (30 minutes)

Available in Studio only. Includes 1 backdrop or set, up to 2 outfits and as many different shots we can create in 30 minutes. A typical Mini Shoot will result in approximately 6-12 finished proofs. Not available for newborns or pets.

$50 Available ONLY Monday - Thursday at our Studio.
Not available for groups with over 2 individuals.

Should your session look like it will run over in time we will ask you before upgrading your session.

The Session & Creative Process

So what do you get with each Session? In addition to the vision and creative talent of Grace Lightner each session will also come with...

Here are just some of the services we include with your Session (based on a normal 2 hour Session) (and we added the amount of time that is typically involved in each step):

A Pre Consultation (in person, by phone or e-mail) to discuss the occasion, shot ideas, clothing, sets and locations. We also learn about your personal style, what you admire in photography and in portraits and how you decorate your home to best plan your session. (30 minutes)
Personalized Session Plan which is personalized with a variety of shot ideas that are tailored specifically to you and the type of portraits we are looking to capture. (30 minutes)
Studio Set Up or Equipment Selection & Travel. We prepare our studio so that when you arrive we are ready to start! Or we make sure to pack the right equipment for your On Location Session. (30 - 60 minutes)
Your Session, the FUN part! We create a relaxed and fun atmosphere as we guide you through shot ideas that we pre-planned & personalized just for you. Armed with professional equipment, technical skill, dynamic lighting techniques and fun and dramatic shot ideas we create a series of diverse images for you that range from naturally posed, artistically dramatic to candid and everything in between. We also offer corny banter at no extra charge. (up to 2 hours)
Final Image Selection. We go through and select the best of the best (not as easy as it sounds!). (1 hour)
Magic Making. This is our favorite part! And it just happens to be the favorite part for our Clients too! The final cut of images are all individually adjusted for color, tonal enhancements, ideal cropping and includes retouching as necessary. A selection of images are edited to create compelling Black & White, Sepia Toned or other Color Enhanced versions. A selection of images are also fully retouched to show you the yumminess you can expect for your final prints. This is where we create the visually pleasing eye candy that compelled you to book your session with us! (3-5 hours)
Create and upload your Proofing Slideshow. Your slideshow will be available online for 14 days to place your order. (30 minutes)
Total Time Invested in the Creative Process for every Session = 8-10.5 Hours

All proofs do include some level of retouching! Yes you are THAT special =)

Studio Sessions

Take a surprisingly short & scenic drive out to our beautiful & clean Professional Studio where we will have you feeling energized or relaxed as we guide you through a VIP Photo Shoot experience that you will love! We incorporate creative lighting, shot & pose ideas that are fun, creative & have an artistic edge. We offer a selection of modern background options and utilize color, texture lighting and creative use of focus to create unique portrait looks that you won't find available from most studios. And at our studio there are never any lines, it is all about you!

On Location Sessions - Indoor or Outdoor

We will bring our talent to you! Whether at your home or in a picturesque outdoor location, we will capture unique images incorporating the available natural or architectural elements surrounding you. We are skilled at shooting in natural and portable lighting and depending on the look we are trying to capture we will make them look out of this world in an awesome location! Your session can accommodate as many outfit and location changes that time allows. Locations over 30 miles from our studio will incur a mileage fee.

Online Proofs

Approximately 3 weeks after your Session we will notify you with a link to your Online Proofs. The excitement begins!!! Your Online Proofs will be available for viewing, sharing & ordering purposes for 14 days after posting so you can place your order. If you need more time you have the option of purchasing online extensions, a proofing DVD or are welcome to make an ordering appointment.
