This book is a culmination of photographs taken for the Marshall Family over the span 6 sessions and 13 months.  Hailey graduated our Baby Milestones Portrait Plan this past Fall, and throughout her first year I have grown a special bond with this Family and their precious little Angel.  The Marshalls certainly have a very special place in my heart and I am so honored to also call them Friends.  (I can’t wait to do lunch after the Holidays, Pretty Lady!)  And I could not ask for a more vocal advocate than Mom, she rocks as a proud Momma showing off Hailey’s Portraits!  

As I reconnected with the images and the book started to organically come together, I felt like I was reading a mesmerizing and monumental chapter of their lives.  Their Sessions would vividly play back in my mind and I would remember how I would delight in noticing all the changes of Miss Hailey since the last time I saw her.  And it isn’t only Baby that does all the changing.  It is beautiful and fascinating to see how couples transition from Husband & Wife to Mom & Dad.  That is a dramatic change in itself.  I am sure if there was a line graph that measured change in a person’s life, becoming new parents would likely become the highest spike in many people’s graphs.

Leslie & Frank are amazing parents, and Miss Hailey is one deeply loved little girl.  Looking forward to watching this little “Smoosh” grow up!

If Superman was rewritten where Clark Kent married Lois Lane and had the perfect little baby girl, the Chapman Family would physically fit the casting profile to a T.  Dad totally gives off a Christopher Reeves vibe and Mom has this special quality about her which is a mixture of drop dead gorgeousness & classic femininity.  Their 8 month old little baby would inherit super powers of her own, stopping evil villians with her extreme cuteness and ”Awwww” inducing grins and then having them slipping & sliding right into the city jail with her super drool…

Okay so back to reality… which is pretty much the same minus the Superman story line.  The Chapman Family is definitely super though and have such classic all American good looks.  And the most ADORABLE baby girl who impressed me with her drooling powers =)

I have enjoyed an amazing photographic journey that lasted over a year with this beautiful little girl and her incredibly beautiful parents.  Hailey is a Princess in our Baby Milestones Program.  The result is a collection of images showcasing the evolution of Hailey’s growth, her smiles, her adorableness and her mobile mastery from before she was born to confident walker all in the span of about 1 year.  It amazes me all the time to witness such drastic changes that occur that 1st year.  And to have the great honor of being able to photograph it along the way makes me feel more like Aunt Gracie than just the Photographer.

As I have grown so fond of Hailey I adore her parents just as much.  They have gone from wonderful Clients to practically an extension of Family.  Frank instills more than his gorgeous eyes to Hailey but also an amazing sense of confidence and strength which all little girls need to grow up feeling.  Leslie is the bomb!  She makes me feel like a superstar with her avid support of my work.  It is truly exhilarating & humbling as like so many artists out there, more times than not, I feel unsure.  This is why I know how awesome of a Mom she is and will be.  Hailey is the luckiest to be surrounded by such love, adoration and positivity.  And I am so lucky to have had the honor of being inspired by all of their inner & outer beauty.

I can’t believe we have been photographing this beautiful little girl for a whole year now.  And in a way even longer when her beautiful parents, with Mom glowing and expecting, walked into the Studio for their Expectation Session…

A teaser from her session, we departed from our traditional studio setting and dabbled with some outdoor shots.  There is an oat field near the studio that is full of fluffy heads right now that worked perfectly.

With Dad being the Assistant Fire Chief at Upper Allen it was of course important to infuse some of that into some of baby Reid’s portraits.  The bucket above is what firefighters used back in the day to pass water to the fire (you know before hydrants and fire hoses became the norm).  So cute this handsome little guy!!!!

Okay so I am finding myself repeating this over and over again but Hailey is THE HAPPIEST BABY I have ever met!  She should be on the cover of “Happiest Baby on the Block”.  Her smile is like pure sunshine!

Hailey is a VIP member of our Baby Milestones Program and it is amazing how much she changes from each session.  Since her 6 month session, she couldn’t sit up by herself and was not mobile…  But woah, at 9 months she is not only sitting up, but she is a fast crawler, pulls herself up and can stand if she is holding onto something.  And she has grown a LOT!  I think some of her clothes were 18 months =) 

Well enough blabbing, check out this doll!  She has done it to me again, I have fallen in love over and over…

And a behind the scenes story on trying to shoot Hailey with her Mom & Dad.  It was hilarious, Hailey was interested in everything else but posing with Mom & Dad.  Finally she focused on wrestling with Dad.  She grabbed & pulled his hair & patting him with glee until he couldn’t take it anymore.  Oh how foretelling these sweet little moments can be =)

Those big wide beautiful eyes!  That and that perfect sweep of hair had me the moment I laid eyes on this adorable little guy.

Calvin gets his stunning looks from his gorgeous parents and I am sure he will adopt their sweet & beautiful personalities too.

Calvin’s room is described as nautical & beachy so I had to make sure we got some photos that reminded everyone of a perfect day spent at the beach.

And look… Calvin has shark swim trunks & match shark hat!  How cute is that!
