Oh goodness, could you ever envision a more cuddly little Teddy Bear that you’d want to squeeze than Hailey?

I was just spoiled rotten with smiles and huge grins from this little sweetheart. According to Mom, as soon as the camera comes out she lights up which was quite evident during her session!

She is growing fast too! At 6 months, even the 9 month dresses were a very close fit! Which leaves me in delight looking forward to her 9 month session envisioning all the lovely baby rolls I hope to capture as she sits up & flashes me those wonderful grins…

New Blog, New Backgrounds, New Climate, New Baby Stuff!

Okay to sum it all up we have a lot of new going on right now…

A handful of gorgeous new backgrounds for 2010!

2 that show off hip textures, colors, a little bit of damask (shown in post), another with a subtle masculine pattern (will post soon). Perfect for just about everything!

New Baby Stuff!

So cute, so I am collecting and hand making gorgeous little props and wearables (check out the hat in the photo, so cute!!!) for babies right now. So if there is a new baby in your life and you want your teeth to rot and fall out because of all the eye candy you will be viewing, then pick up the phone…

New Climate

The recent weather has created a rather chilly studio climate this month and so a new heating system was installed today. It was just delightful to walk into a “balmy” studio while outside a blizzard was raging. I may just spread a beach towel on the floor and bake under the modeling lamps of my strobes ; )

You may also notice the new outfit our blog is showing off. We have moved to WordPress and I love it! I feel like I am enjoying a long glorious stretch compared to the restrictions I had to finagle with before. Still a lot of tweaks and loose ends to tie up but I should be catching up with my blogging soon (and now I will be enjoying every minute of it!)

And just so I leave you with some visual candy, here is a treat from last weekend. Shows one of our new baby hats (made by moi!) and one of our new backgrounds.

McLaughlin Pride

It was important to capture the McLaughlins as a proud family of 3 before they ascended to a proud family of 4. (Very soon!)

Little AJ is almost a year old and just the most laid back & pleasant handsome little guy.

The family enjoys the outdoors and hiking and although they would have ideally had planned for a majority of outdoor photographs we kept our expectations low on cooperative winter weather. Boy did Mother Nature lend an unexpected helping hand… it was a rare gorgeous day for mid January and we got a short & sweet handful of lovely outdoor shots in… yay!

Christmas Magic at the Hanna’s

We have been following our angelic little V.I.B. (Very Important Baby) Mira around for 9 months now to capture her adorably changing 1st Year Milestones. And for this milestone it is all about her and her big bro Alex enjoying the Christmas spirit in their GORGEOUSLY decorated home!

V.I.M.ommy Tracy transforms their home into a magical Christmas Wonderland every year so just seemed perfect to do this Baby’s 1st Year Milestones session in the midst of all the loving sparkle.

Alex showed off to me some of his favorite things in his stylishly rugged bedroom. On his Christmas tree was an awesome Darth Vader ornament. (Love Star Wars! The original series that is…)

Mira’s gorgeous nursery in soft pink and decorated with favorite portraits from her debut baby session, love it!!! She even has her own white and pink Christmas tree, so cute…

At just 3 months old and what a huge difference from her newborn photos! Hailey was alert as ever, full of smiles and ready to spread some sugary sweet Holiday cheer for Christmas. Hailey is a VIP member in our Baby’s 1st Year Milestones Program. So only the best for this little sweetheart!

Seriously, one of the coolest original boy names I have come across… Sharp dresser too might I add

And here is Jace in all his itty bittyness at just over 1 week old! He was a sleepy one for much of the session which is always a bonus for it’s cute factor.

Jace’s stunning Mommy is dear to our family as she is our daughter’s most awesome preschool teacher. Leilani adores her and in turn so do we. So I’ll admit it, I was pining after her to do the first set of baby portraits =)

Michelle your family is GORGEOUS. Congrats on the arrival of your little sweetheart, enjoy your holidays with your 2 guys and enjoy these previews!

Finally…. FINALLY!!! I get to meet sweet little Anna. And my goodness she is SOOO sweet! Alison and her son Julian have been awesome friends over the years for Leilani & myself. Definitely one of our go to playdate pals. Unfortunately due to our mismatched schedules, sicknesses and weather it took this long to finally meet this beautiful little sweetheart.

It was a gorgeous day though for outdoor family portraits! November & a balmy 70 degrees! We had to work hard to pretend it was well into fall =)

We did things differently this year and went out to the grounds at Boyer House in Enola to do a little exploring and walking around. A perfect setting for a beautiful family…

Mira Part 2 – 6 Months old!

This is our 2nd Session together in celebration of Mira’s 6 month Milestone. And what a huge change since her 1 month session! She is now able to sit up independantly and can get on all 4′s. And the most cutest is how dramatically animated and happy she is. I estimate about 1/3 of the shots are of her with a huge wide mouth and drooly grin.

Mom did awesome picking out bright and beautiful clothes and brought along these gorgeous and vibrant headbands. Mira is definitely going to be Mom’s dynamic shopping duo.

So sweet, my teeth are starting to rot =)

A very snuggly welcome to Hailey Elizabeth. One of the latest beautiful additions to the world around us. Mom is so enraptured that she finds it difficult to sleep because she just wants to spend every waking moment loving this sweet little dear.

Dad exudes the loving “pillar of strength” aura that will be with him always as he takes care of and protects his girls.

A speedy recovery to you Leslie. Get home soon!
