Lacey + Justin = ♥ | Duncannon Engagement Photographer

Lacey & Justin’s Wedding is about 11 months away yet they would have you thinking they are getting married next week just based on the sheer excitement you can feel when talking to this amazing pair.  You cannot help but to fall in love with this couple, they are just incredibly sweet and the love & adoration they have for each other causes you to smile wistfully & sigh deeply with happiness.  Lacey in particular exhibits the kind of nostalgic & sentimental romance that conjures up memories of having butterflies and feeling like your heart might soar right out of your chest.

Lacey & Justin are such a playfully fun couple.  So when I picture Lacey & Justin, I usually imagine they are about to, in the process of or just finished up with bouts of laughter, smiles & / or giggles.  And I am betting that at least one of their evenings in the following week will include enjoying a romantic evening of snuggling, enjoying a glass of wine and watching one of their favorite sports teams.  Although I will be honest I have no idea when it comes to sports schedules other than Basketball, so if I am off season then just nix the last thing & replace it with laughter;)

For Lacey & Justin’s E-Session we photographed a large portion of it at her Mom’s GORGEOUSLY landscaped home in Duncannon.  (I love and want this yard!)

Beautiful pics of a beautiful couple. Photographer did a nice job. Sis, I’m very proud of Justin and you. Wishing you two all the HAPPINESS together as a couple. I thought maybe that I would have seen the 2 bad kids(Sam & Taco) in some photos. Can’t wait to see you guys this weekend, and the remaining pictures. I, too, like the pose in Phillie’s shirt the most, but they all are very good. Dad will see you guys this weekend.

Kroix | Duncannon Newborn Photographer

Melt my heart… this is what it is like to be in the presence of this sweet little baby girl.  This lovely little brunette not only possesses a beautiful name (LOVE it!) but she also has the most precious little lips that do this adorable little pouty thing when she is dreaming.  I must have mentioned how beautiful she was dozens of times.  But I am sure it will add up to millions by the end of her 1st year.

So what is in a name?  It is something I think about probably more often than I really should but Kroix definitely possesses one of the most unique and coolest names I have heard in a long time.  It is different without feeling too different and definitely one that is not easy to forget, I know I will always remember it…

Mom told me that when they took their baby girl to her 1st Dr’s appointment, the nurses were all a flutter asking about her name and the origin of it.  Origin = Mom & Dad.

For more of this beautiful and unforgettable little girl, please click on the image below and brace yourself for all the preciousness to follow.

The McNaughton Family | Millerstown Family Photographer

I know as of recent I have been a neglectful blogger and I apologize for that.  It is not due to the lack of loveliness to share but moreso the lack of time to get them posted.  Hopefully the following feast for the eyes and soul, brought especially to you by the Lovely McNaughton Family, will make up for some of that… =)

Talk about an easy going, fun & very funny Family to hang out with!  Not to mention ga ga GORGEOUS!  The McNaughton’s were definitely all that & more!

Trying to estimate the arrival of Spring AND avoid rainy weather was definitely a hurdle for this year.  We had to reschedule this session a couple of times but what we ended up with was a gorgeous golden evening at Little Buffalo State Park.  And with some hints of fresh greenery on the trees to boot!

Millerstown Outdoor Childrens Portraits | Little Buffalo State Park | Grace Lightner Photography

One thing that I quickly noticed and immensely admired about this Family was how easy going, content & happy they were the entire time.  Dad was a refreshingly willing & easy participant, even coming up with cool ideas.  When Brayden accidentally bonked his sister on the head, no scowl from Mercedees, just an “Ow!” and a smile.  When Brayden cried because he was hungry (and I chuckled as I was reminded how 2 year olds communicate:)), Mom never even hinted at losing her cool, she just strolled over to the car and brought back some snacks which Brayden devoured and was all smiles again.  Mercedees at 8 was far from shy and she delighted every moment of being in front of the camera.  And on a side note doesn’t Mom look like she was pulled strait off the beaches of sunny California?  I feel like there should have been a surfboard somewhere.  However there WAS a kayak which is something Dad & Mercedees enjoy doing together.

Anyways enjoy the love, McNaughton Family & their fans…

Sweet Sopia | Camp Hill Newborn & Family Portrait Photographer

Welcome to the world Sweet little Sopia!  I can just imagine the celebrations that occurred all over the country when you arrived!!!

I know how lucky & proud Diane & Jon feel to finally get to hold, love and adore this precious little angel.  And at this point Sopia, in all her newness, has no clue yet as to how lucky she is to have such adoring, free spirited, fun and huge hearted parents…

Myself having spent several hours with Diane & Jon from this Session and from their awesome Expectation Session, I feel I have gathered just enough about them to imagine what their next 18 years or so might look like raising Sopia.

So hold on a sec while I go fetch my fully customized and fully imaginary magic 8 ball…  Okay I got it here (giving it a little shake)…  Alright now… let’s see what wonderful things are in store for this beautiful little Family to look forward to…

I see an adorable little tyke in pig tails & a Red Sox jersey cheering as loud as she can in her tiny voice along with her Mom & Dad at their favorite baseball stadium.

And there will be hundreds of hours of ski trip memories to recount where Dad will teach Sopia the ropes and help her fine tune her skills to the point she outskis most people twice her age.

Many beautiful days will be spent strolling through art shows and fairs & funky little shops with Mom while they open each other’s eyes to the next great find to add to their eclectic & inspirational collection of art.

Countless afternoons will be spent running around in the yard in bare feet, splashing in the nearby creeks and discovering bugs & minnows, roasting marshmallows, laughing and watching sunsets together.

Hundreds of hugs and kisses will be set specifically aside to console Sopia when she scrapes her knee, stubs her toe, gets her feelings hurt or drops her ice cream cone.

Appetites will be gleefully ruined together with delicious and all-natural homemade cookies, cakes & pies!

Mom & Dad will one day start exchanging way too many knowing glances as boys become less “ewwww!” and more “ooooh!”.

And then one day it will happen when Mom & Dad will suddenly realize with both sadness and a deep sense of pride that their little girl has become all grown up.  And they will see that she is even more beautiful and more amazing than she was the first few weeks they held and adored her, exhausted & bleary eyed due to lack of sleep, but smiling nonetheless at their great fortune…

And when Sopia is no longer a child but instead a young woman, the moments will come with more & more frequency where she will pause and say to herself ”Wow, how lucky I am now and have been all my life to have such amazing Parents…”

So many wonderful things to look forward to…

But you know what is even better?  Enjoying & savoring every little second, minute, hour and day right now as she is in this moment…
