New Climate

•  The recent weather has created a rather chilly studio climate this month and so a new heating system was installed today.  It was just delightful to walk into a “balmy” studio while outside a blizzard was raging.  I may just spread a beach towel on the floor and bake under the modeling lamps of my strobes ; )

You may also notice the new outfit our blog is showing off.  We have moved to WordPress and I love it!  I feel like I am enjoying a long glorious stretch compared to the restrictions I had to finagle with before.  Still a lot of tweaks and loose ends to tie up but I should be catching up with my blogging soon (and now I will be enjoying every minute of it!)

And just so I leave you with some visual candy, here is a treat from last weekend.  Shows one of our new baby hats (made by moi!) and one of our new backgrounds.

NEW Half Sessions now available!

We now offer 1 hour half sessions at our studio or at limited outdoor locations nearby for only $100 for Mon-Thur bookings and $130 Fri-Sun bookings.

Half Sessions allow 1 background or outdoor location and multiple clothing changes with up to 4 individuals.

Half Sessions benefit from a faster proof turn around time (approx 2 weeks), perfect for this busy Holiday Season (which if you are not aware is already in full swing for our studio!)

So if you still need to book your Portrait Session for the Holidays and don’t quite need the full coverage of a Regular Session then call us today!  717-834-5479

Don’t forget if you only need a few great portraits we also offer Mini Sessions which are 30 minute sessions at our studio Mon-Thur for only $50.  Theses sessions include 1 background and up to 2 outfits and a speedy 1 week turnaround time.

Oh my gosh, it is hard to describe how busy it has been lately and for someone who likes to take their time to make sure everything is perfect I have to admit, things are starting to pile around me! So my apologies to anyone I have had to cancel social engagements with and to Clients who are eagerly waiting for an early viewing!

I do however want to take a moment to announce BIG NEW CHANGE to Sessions…

They have been totally revamped! From what they entail to how they are priced. There are several changes but the most exciting change is that now ALL of the proofs from your Session includes retouching. Yes ALL of them. This is no simple feat. It is actually quite time consuming but the results are worth it. And just to give you an idea, for every typical 2 hour Session, approximately 9 hours is spent behind the scenes planning, preparing, editing & retouching. So for the cost of the Session Fee you do get a VERY sweet deal.

I offer Studio Sessions and/or On Location Sessions & affordable Mini Sessions. And as always Sessions are completely personalized to you. In order to do that I like to have a good chat with you to get to know anything and everything I can that will help me plan a session that will produce the kind of images that will blow you away.

I plan every session with a fresh blank piece of paper (or Word Doc). Because I know you are worth it!
