I will try and post at least a couple a month as I stumble upon new inspiration.
These looks are all from J.Crew Kids line (love so many of their looks right now!) and are currently available online or in stores! These modern versions of children’s prep utilizes layers to mix neutrals & colors.
Layers are the best! They…
- can provide a slimming effect especially when layering a darker jacket or open button down shirt over a lighter top.
- add depth and interest to a portrait. Especially when mixed with coordinating accessories like scarves, hats & jewelry.
- allow the utilization of vibrant colors or prints mellowed with neutral pieces.
- also allow more leeway in family portraits when coordinating complementary outfits.
- just look great, fresh and simply stylish!
- Take heed, layers work just as amazingly if not more on adults too!
