We just adore the contemporary floral arrangements that Bill at Wegman’s in Mechanicsburg creates. Compared to what you normally see, his creations are always in a league of their own in creativity and presence. So it is safe to say my husband is a regular patron of his work.
For Valentine’s Day my husband & daughter wanted to get something very special and after browsing the stand was drawn to an arrangement of red tulips, pink callas, ferns & willow branches. Red roses and pink callas were in my wedding bouquet and so he asked the florist to recreate it replacing the tulips with roses.
When he came home with the huge gift of flowers, he was beaming with pride telling me stories of how the ladies at the store showered him with compliments on the arrangement and he even got a remark from another guy joking ”Thanks for making mine look so bad!”.
I had been meaning to photograph the arrangement and so finally while preparing for a session, I used it as a my lighting model.
