A few weeks ago we shot Natalie’s Senior Portraits, which I have to say were AWESOME!!! And during the session, Natalie’s super sweet Mother Valerie tells me how they have a litter of brand new baby bunnies (awwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!). You see Natalie has been raising, breeding and showing bunnies for the past several years. It is a huge part of her life that her parents have supported and have become involved in.
So after our session Mom Valerie invites me to bring my 3 year old daughter over to see the baby bunnies when they are at their cutest, 2 weeks old, fuzzy & with their eyes open. How could I not take her up on this offer? In 2 weeks time I make arrangements to come visit with my daughter but I brought my camera with me to get some shots of Natalie amidst her prized rabbits.
I got to learn a lot about Natalie’s hobby and about rabbits in general. Quite fascinating to say the least. To date she has 42 bunnies spanning 8 breeds with several Grand Champions. Her main breed she raises are Flemish Giants, and they are GIANT!!!! The BW photo shows Natalie with a “baby”. It is ginormous! But so cute =)
She also raises & breeds a very rare breed called Creme D’Argents. These were the new babies we came to visit (2nd photo down). Oh my gosh I have never seen anything so CUTE!!! There were actually 2 litters and each bunny was teenie tiny!
Natalie often works with children and she was so sweet as she helped my daughter kiss and feed bunnies during our visit. Thank you Valerie & Natalie for sharing your bunnies with us! I will be in touch this week with a link to all of Natalie’s proofs!
