I know, I know… “Rockin” is thrown around a lot when describing High School Senior’s & their Portraits, but I swear in this instance it is true.

Jeff spends most of his free time playing his guitars. (And if you like guitars then you should probably wipe the drool off your face.) Not 1 day goes by where he doesn’t pick it up to jam. I got to enjoy some of this audio delight throughout the session and he is not just good, he is AMAZING and all self taught.

Jeff has never been a follower, he knows what he likes and doesn’t apologize for it. Such as the Dallas Cowboys, Chevy, Big Fros, and 80′s Rock N Roll (all things that his family like to rib him about). Yet he is far from being a rebel, he is a good kid that doesn’t get into trouble, gets good grades and knows what he wants to do in life.

I asked him if he had any interest in being in a band. Nope not at all, he just likes to play. Jeff is an incredible cool kid and I am proud to say he is also my nephew.

I got a new toy for lighting on location and used them out on Jeff for the first time. Jeff brought a couple of guitars and a bunch of his gear and I created a couple of sets with them on location & in the studio. I was really happy with how the shots turned out with the new lighting set up. Tried it yesterday and will try it again today. Location lighting rocks!!!
