A Baines Maternity Session

So I get home and check my messages and on the machine is a message from Marc wanting to book a Maternity Session. I was slightly intrigued as it is usually the expecting Mom who calls to book the Maternity Session. When I call them back I learn that Lisa is due NOW (which is funny because if you look at her from behind she looks like a petite & skinny gal). I also learn that Lisa &/or Mark consider their taste as “Artsy Fartsy”, listen to Folk music, Lisa is deeply into Yoga and they have no qualms about doing artistic nudes (they did them before for her 1st pregnancy!). I think to myself “SCORE!”. This is exactly the type of couple that I have been dreaming of.

With a last minute session rescheduling I was able to get them in the next day which didn’t leave me a whole lot of time to brain storm a set of artsy shots (and in hindsight I realize I could have really pushed the limits with this pair) But at the end I was happy with the results. I would post more favorites in this sneak peek but I have to edit for content, not that Lisa or Marc would mind (yes they are that cool!).

Marc & Lisa just moved here from Colorado earlier this year. I hope I get a chance to meet more Coloridians (and Mid Staters!) as open and cucumber cool as this couple.

Gorgeous couple… And Lisa is definitely on to something with Yoga because she looks incredible at the end of her pregnancy. I hope Greyson has finally made his debut and is settling in comfortably.
