For myself, the body of a pregnant woman is one of the most artistic and beautifully intriguing human forms. More than just a curvy shape to announce an impending arrival but also attached are deep and complicated emotions that are not readily addressed. The better part of society feels a need to hide it although I am pleased to find that attitude changing more and more.
Heather follows along with my line of thinking that being pregnant is beautiful, empowering and incredibly sexy.
With Heather’s help we created some captivating Maternity Artwork. My vision was to peek into the mind of an expecting woman when she is alone with her thoughts and contemplating the deeper emotional aspects of a changing body and expecations. The goal was to artistically define strength, empowerment, pride, beauty, intimacy, sensuality, sensitivity and love in the final images.
