What’s a Hip Punk Rocker Chick to do when she doesn’t want boring “Cotton Candy” (quoted from Holly) portraits done like the rest of her Senior school mates?
Well a session with Grace can cure that problem. I spoke in detail with Holly’s mom as well as asked Holly several questions that helped reveal her personality, style and vision and came up with a very edgy solution…
This gal definitely rocked it out for me and we had a great time during the session. And it looks like there may be a part II to Holly’s Senior Portraits because her Dad has a newly restored Torino Hot Rod that is begging to be a part of Holly’s Senior Portraits.

Portrait Tip: Backgrounds & colors play an important role in photography and especially in portraits. Black tends to be moody, emotional, serious, deep, thoughtful, intimate, mysterious & poignant. White tends to be fresh, energetic, happy, carefree, innocent, bright & cheery. As simple as those colors are, they lend a profound concious and subconcious impact to the feel of a portrait. For Holly’s Senior Portraits I implemented bold colored lights for impact to push through the message that she has a bold and edgy personality.
