About the Photographer

As a Photographer and Artist I am always learning and evolving but the goal is always the same, to keep things fresh, unexpected, thrilling and unsurpassed in quality. I love the look of both candid and naturally or artistically posed Portraits, and so that is what I practice. I also feel that a captivating Portrait combined with just the right amount of retouching and artwork can turn a great Portrait into a unique piece of Art. I offer a highly personalized set of services and high quality products for today's more modernly inspired and discerning Portrait Client. This includes 1 on 1 client focused service and customization, from pre planning a personalized session, to the presentation of the final images, all of which are carefully selected and retouched (Clients adore this!), and to delivering the type of polished & custom created products to fit each individual client's tastes, preferences and lifestyle.

When working with clients I look to capture many facets of their personality and appearance by experimenting with angles, expressions, interaction, colors, backgrounds, movement, texture and focus. I make a point to create an easy, carefree and relaxing environment to help my clients feel comfortable and allow them to express their true natural self.

A lot of passion is poured into the work that is produced. I can't help but to take my time with each Client and every ordered image so that great care is taken to make sure that before any photograph or product leaves my studio, it meets my expectations in standard and quality and that the image captivates and thrills me and I feel certain it will also captivate and thrill the Client. I know that these are special moments that are meant to be admired for a lifetime and beyond of enjoyment. So quality and trust is not something worth skimping on. I do limit my schedule so that I have enough time to dote on each Client and to balance work with precious Family time.

Grace is a 31 year old Wife, Mother and Artist living in Duncannon, PA. Originally growing up all around the Washington DC Metropolitan area, she transplanted herself into the beautiful country side of Central PA after falling in love. Now with a small growing family she owns her own studio and shares her passion of Modern Photography and Fine Art with others who also appreciate the same. Outside of Photography she also enjoys gardening, traveling, scrap booking, and spending time gallivanting around with her husband Scott and daughter Leilani.

About The Studio

Our professionally equipped Photography Studio is located in Duncannon's lovely countryside which is only 25 minutes from Harrisburg and the Camp Hill/Mechanicsburg area. Our studio consists of a large shooting area that can accommodate medium to large groups (and it also helps when photographing speedy little ones!). We offer a variety of backdrop, seating and creative lighting set ups as well as a small selection of props. Available is a clean and private dressing room with a changing table available for our tiniest clients, and plenty of gorgeous samples to check out. We use state of the art professional photography equipment, techniques and software.

Before your session even takes place we take the time to learn about you, your style and what you are looking for in order to put together a vision that is then planned into your own unique and personalized photo session.

Here is what you can expect for your Studio Session. A fun time & a great experience! We keep things upbeat, casual, relaxing and exciting! It is important for us to capture your natural smile and personality so we take the time to chat, get to know you and crack a few corny jokes while getting you comfortable being photographed. It is more common than not for clients to leave saying what a great experience their session was and for them to remark that it was not at all what they expected!

Oh and don't forget to let us know what kind of music you like and we will set the mood that matches your personality. Or just bring your iPod with a playlist of feel good music to bring out the inner Super Model in you!

We should mention we believe in keeping things clean, especially with items that will come in direct contact with our clients such as props and fabrics. We are especially diligent with items that come in direct contact with babies. That is why we regula

We should note that our studio is not handicap accessible, but we will gladly bring our studio to you!

About Shooting On Location

Have us come to you! Choose a lovely home environment, or any other beautiful location for the setting of your portraits. A park with gorgeous landscaping, a building known for it's stunning architecture, the Market Street of a Charming town, the place He proposed and you said "Yes!". There is too much beauty out there to not take advantage of, and together we will use them to compliment your unique set of portraits. Keep in mind that Outdoor Sessions are weather permitting, if Mother Nature just does not agree we will gladly reschedule.

Proud to be Green

We feel it is important to limit our impact on the environment as individuals and as a business. We strive to keep our studio as Green as possible by our efforts to recycle and conserve energy when we can. Here is a list of some of our practices:

Many of the lights we use are CFL's, and when our studio is not in use, the lights stay off.
Some of the backgrounds we use are paper but as they wear instead of just throwing them out, clean paper will turn into coloring paper and most of the rest go in the compost bin.
We reuse clean shipping materials such as shipment boxes and packing supplies whenever possible.
We are firm believers in recycling. If we can't reuse it, we make a monthly trip to the recycling or shipping centers to drop off recyclables.
We regularly use non-toxic cleaning materials to keep our studio clean & fresh and to regularly launder the fabrics & textiles that we use with Clients.
